Five Months

Little Brody turned five months old today. I just can't believe it. Our little guy has been with us for 150 days. Where has the time gone!! This week, he discovered his feet. All he wants to do is grab on to them. He also wants to sit up so he can check out all that is going on with everyone, can you say Little Tim! :-). Poor guy, I wonder what he thinks when Blake and Sydney are going at it. He just looks at them and smiles!!

It was time for the girls to go their separate ways yesterday afternoon so we met Steph, Matt, Jacob and Natalia at our favorite Mexican restaurant - Alicia's in Cypress. After we went to the outlet mall. Brody is in desperate need of some new clothes. He is wearing 12 months right now and he's only five months!! Everyone tells us we have a football player on our hands, not if Tim has anything to do with it though!! It so funny how people just come up to us and give us their honest opinion of him...what a fat baby, wow, he's so big, wow, look at his fat cheeks, he's soooo chunky and my most favorite one of all, he's so juicy! I know he's big and one day he will thin out like Blake and Sydney but the comments hurt sometimes. It's as if I'm doing something wrong! Steph and I had fun shopping at Gymboree, Carters and Osh Kosh. As much as I wanted a boy sooo bad, I must admit, it's just hard finding cute little boy stuff, but I found a few things so we are back in business Mr. B.

We took Jacob with us so he could spend the night and the kids went to Parents' Night Out at the gym from 6-11. Blake begs us to go each week. They absolutely love it there. While the kids were gone, we caught up on Harper's Island, our new show to watch. So far, we love it!! This morning, the kids had a blast watching You Tube videos. One of their favorites is Charlie Bit My Finger. Sydney giggles and giggles when she watches it. We had a birthday party at Pump It Up today so they bounced around and sugared up on cake and goodie bag candy. Blake and Sydney were so glad that they were able to hang with their cousins all weekend long.

Back to Bloggin'

Ok, I should be sleeping (goodness gracious it's 1:36 in the morning) but the house is quiet and all I hear is the sound of the rain coming down. I have been wanting to get back into blogging, I only did it for a short period of time a few years ago. I found an awesome site House of 3 and picked up a really rockin' blog banner and background. It's a crazy busy design, but it's soooo me!!!

I had such a fun day today!! Sydney went back to school after staying home for the last week due to Kindergarten roundup, coming back late from Dallas and having the croup cough. I ran to Hobby Lobby to pick up supplies for a flip flop order I am starting to work on - fIvE pairs, yeah!!

Stephanie and I met at a really trendy little boutique Bling It On. We were in heaven, they had all kinds of cute shirts, blingy jewelry and those great little Yellow Box flops. I bought a cute necklace charm - "My Kids Rock" and a sassy pair of zebra rhinestone flops. I can't wait to wear them. Steph said that's the new place for gift cards...bIrThDays, mOtHeR'S dAy, cHrIsTmaS...you get the idea. We still can't believe Steph's friend who spent over $600 there today!! After shopping, we headed over to Vintage Park and tried a new Italian restaurant Mia Bella. We each had pizza and it was yummy. It was so nice to catch up with Steph, it's been way too long sis! I'm looking forward to going back to try something else. I took Alexa with me and we picked up Sydney and Blake. Alexa said Blake was her Prince. Sydney was so excited to see her cousin Alexa and screamed out her name!! When we got home, the girls immediately got into dress up mode and started prancing around the house with their gOwNs and hIgH hEeLs. Syd got a bunch of mAkEup for her birthday and they were into that as well as my MAC eyeshadow. Alexa did a good job at putting it on her eyes while Sydney had an eyeshadow unibrow! It was sooo funny. The girls watched Strawberry Cinderella (Strawberry Shortcake Dress Up Days), played some more, went on a quest to find some chocolate in the house (true girls!!) and then they crashed! Here are some pictures of their fun afternoon!
