I was as so excited for our family photo shoot on Saturday at the Mercer Arboretum with Shannon K. How lucky we were to have perfect weather and a day full of blue skies (my favorite kind of day)!
Normally the arboretum is gorgeous with blooms. Well, since we have had an unusually cold winter and several freezes, it didn't look the same. Crews were digging up all the dead stuff and we didn't see many flowers.
I loved Shannon's personality and she was great with the kids, (she used to be a teacher, go figure)!! Brody has been sick this week, so he didn't want to cooperate too well. Here are some of the pictures we took with our camera. I can't wait to see the proofs!
After pictures, we headed to Market Street in The Woodlands. We didn't know anything was going on, but they had all kinds of fun activities for the kids and a country band to kickoff the rodeo. I met Kay Bailey Hutchison who is one of the candidates for Texas governor and the kids were even asked to take a picture with her. It was a fun family day!
This picture had me laughing although it's a bit blurry, I had to post...
Blake has had enough of pictures and his sister and he's hungry, Syd's just having a grand ole time and Brody has reached his limit, these are my kids!!
